Cali, wohl die meist umsungene lateinamerikanische Stadt wird hier in einer neuen Formation für den Bandnamen genutzt. Willy García und Javier Vásquez beide ehemalige Sänger von Grupo Niche haben sich zusammengetan und Ihre langjährige Erfahrungen in ein beachtlich gutes Album umgesetzt.
Der Titel Son de Cali stammt aus der Feder von Omar Alfanno (schrieb bisher viele Songs u. a. für Victor Manuelle) einer von Eddie Santiago und insgesamt 6 Songs vom Willy Garcia selbst. So was verstehe ich unter Professionalität, wenn man nicht nur Sänger, sondern auch noch ein wirklich guter Songwriter ist.
Das Resultat dieser zwei routinierten vocalistas: Salsa colombiana con clase, angenehmes Tempo und ein astreiner Sound.
