Michel Batista stand vor einer sehr schweren Aufgabe! Die Erwartungen bzw. den Riesenerfolg seines ersten Superalbums auch beim neuen halten zu können. Immerhin schaffte er es mit ?La rumba? auf den 5. Platz der Jahres Charts 2001 und ob Ihm dies auch mit seiner 2. CD gelingt, werden die Salseros in den Clubs bzw. die DJ?s in ihren Salsa Charts entscheiden.
El mismo Michel, wie er sein Album nennt ist nun absolut der Gleiche geblieben, 100% sabroso! Kräftig, schnell und ohne Kompromisse, pa?l bailador! Textlich gesehen ist dieses Album breit gefächert, da Michel teilweise auch aktuelle politische Themen anspricht wie z.B. bei ?Ataque America? oder ?La violación?; aber auch alltägliches wie bei ?Dinero? oder Profesora de amor?. Einer der besonderen Songs dieser CD ist ?Homenaje a Oscar D?Leon? bei dem man eindeutig heraushört dass Oscar eines seiner Idole ist und sicherlich ist Oscar nicht nur für Michel eines der Idole.
Der Salsa-Sommer wird MUY CALIENTE!
