Reviews

  Review : DJ Santiago Steele

The latest collection (at least parts of it) by Ziegler, accompanied by jazz guitarist Quique Sinesi, makes a welcome departure from the snooze tunes that have marked many of Ziegler's previous works.

Ziegler is widely regarded as the successor to Piazzolla in fusing jazz and tango music, and Bajo Cero includes some of Piazzolla's last work, along with several orginal pieces by Zielger and others.

Although some of the tracks are not much good for dancing, several add a nice twist to the Piazzolla sound, and others are worthwile for their orginality.

Try 'Chin Chin', 'Fundición' and 'Fuga y Misterio.'
