Die zweite CD von «Havana Power Band» legt gegenüber der ersten noch ein, zwei Zacken zu. Herausgekommen ist ein reines Hardcore-Timba/Despelote-Album, das in seinem Drive und seiner Frische zum Besseren zählt, was in letzter Zeit auf diesem Sektor erschienen ist.
Vor allem die Kombination von Raúl Cabrera (Bandleader) am Bass und Oswaldo Oliva am Piano macht mächtig Schub.
Die meisten Stücke sind ziemlich schnell und verlangen der Kondition einiges ab.
Der grosse Hit kommt von mir aus gesehen gleich am Anfang: «No Le Eches La Culpa», ein Kracher der Sonderklasse.

Fazit: Wirblige Tanz-CD für Timba-Fans, wirklich «Havana Power»!
