Following the albums "Salsa contra viento y marea" and "I love Salsa"
there is a new CD by N'Klabe. Until a short while ago the young
band used to be an insider tip, now they have become established in
the world of Salsa. This is the stuff Salsa dancers' dreams are made

This box bridges a gap in the market!
Quite often, our customers complain about the lack of compilations
which cover various genres. Usually one has to choose one music style
like Salsa, Merengue or Bachata, or one has to buy several CDs in
order get a mix. Now, there is a solution to the problem. The record
company Envidia has released the 3 CD box Academia de Baile Tropical,
which portrays the variety of Latin American music. The three CDs
(more than three hours of music!) contains Salsa, Mambo, Boogaloo,
Bachata, Cha Cha Cha, Merengue, Timba Cubana and more. Perfect for
enjoying an evening without having to change CDs. Even the price is
great: 19,99 Euro for the box of 3!

Last summer, we already introduced this order service. Bruce Polin
has created an excellent pool of information with his Descarga
catalogue, and he keeps providing a platform also for small
productions without sparing any efforts.
The people at Descarga are really dedicated to the music they are
selling. This is our aim as well, and thus we would like to give our
customers the opportunity to get CDs from the Descarga catalogue from
us.
Ordering at Descarga on your own often creates disappointment when the
costs for shipment and customs add to the price of the CD. We offer to
make a joint order for all people interested. This does not mean that
the price for the CD will be extremely cheap, but we save you time and
hassle. A CD, which Descarga offers for i.eg 18.- USD kostet, can be
purchased through us for about 23.- Euro. If you are interested in the

Please order the CD or DVD by email. We need to have an account in our
webshop and we need all your customer data including the current
method of payment.
We will place our next order at the end of January. All the orders we
receive until then will be taken into account. Afterwards, we will
collect new orders and it will take a bit longer for the delivery of
those CDs.

The new CD by the somehow different Tango-Combo. The expresive and and
the same time meaningful title could be misleading, though. What you
are looking at is not a bad CD at all. The pictures in the booklet are
a better orientation: Empty glasses and mirror balls testify party
nights and show the fun and energy the band plays with. Do we have to
point out that they are excellent musicans? Find out for yourselves:

Another Tango formation looking for a different approach is Tangoloco.
They also owe a lot of their success to their stage performances in
Buenos Aires and its surroundings. Their music combines Tango with for
example Milonga, Habanera, Jazz and classischer music. Their credo is:
"there is only one type of good music and it doesn't know traffic
signs or frontiers." For dancers who like to experiment. A foretaste?
