2. CD: Un Tango Más - Esperatango
This is the second CD by the Ensemble Un Tango Más, which is also well known for their live performances. The sextet with Sónnica Yepes (singer), Antje Vetter (violin), Jörg Siebenhaar (accordion saxophone), Thomas Hanz (guitar), Martin Scholz (piano, cornet)
and Alex Morsey (double-bass, tuba) present popular Tango titles like “Caserón de Tejas",
"Escualo", "Malena" or "Balada para un Loco", but also their own compositions. Their love for jazz is obvious, and the multi-faceted voice of the Spanish singer Sónnica Yepes transmits virtuosity and pleasure. Listen to "Balada para un loco". In other versions, the spoken part can easily sound artifical, the laughter cramped - but this singer manages to express her feelings convincingly.

3. DVD: Tango Lesson - the movie
This movie caused a furore in 1997. Now, for the first time, it is available in German, but also in the original version with German subtitles. The country code of the PAL-DVD is 2. This is the short version of the movie: The director Sally meets the Tango dancer Pablo Verón in Paris and together they travel to Beunos Aires. Pablo teaches Sally how to dance Tango, and Sally gives him a part in her movie. They become a couple and we witness theri struggle in leading and accepting the other’s leadership. The beautiful pictures, the brilliant dance scenes and the excellent music selection (Pugliese, d'Arienzo, Astor Piazzolla) make “Tango Lesson” one of the most important Tango films.
