1. Duo Aguirre-Rocco: Sonata Tanguera
The first album by the duo Aguirre-Rocco published in Europe combines two musical stylistic genres deeply rooted in Argentinian culture - the European classic and the tango. The musicians are the pianist and composer Pablo Aguirre and the transverse flute player Luis Rocco.
The Tango-Sonate evolved in 2001 in a time of political crisis in Argentinian and a brusque change in the life of Pablo Aguirre. While searching for a new musical identity, a valuable contribution for modern chamber music developed, a real novelty in the tradition of the classical sonata.
The tango by Astor Piazzolla (Tango Neuvo) also also influenced the Tango-Sonate - in this case in a chamber music interpretation.

4. Advice for problems concerning access to audio files
Several visitors of our webshop who use the browser Internet Explorer have told us that they are having problems listening to our audio samples. We have found out that often the problem is a missing updated flashplayer. We don’t know why the Internet Explorer demands the latest flashplayer version, but again we spent money for problems created by Microsoft. Thus - if you are still using the Internet Explorer - we recommend to change to Firefox or Opera... Or make sure that the newest flashplayer version is installed...
Good luck!
