Some basic information to start with:
Our new shop has a standard which, from our point of view, offers all the features we expect from modern internet shopping:† It is safe, comfortable and has a clear presentation. The security aspect is very important to us. Your personal details are encoded in order to make them inaccessible to third persons. This is common practice. We also decided† not to leave your important data (for example your credit card number) on our server. Thus, your data is protected, if the server falls victim to hackers, because your personal information does not exist on the server.
You can decide if you wish to accept cookies or not. Traditional shopping carts like our old shop do not work without cookies. Our new shop does if you reject cookies. We also refrained from features we consider unnecessary for a modern shop, like frames or the use of the programming language Java. By this means you can feel totally safe. We will not spy on the visitors of our shop or keep them under surveillance.
The shop also allows your own initiative:
You can open up your own account and check the information saved there when you place your next order. In this account you can fill in delivery addresses or the addresses of friends you would like us to send a CD present to. And you can check any time your total shopping list.
Besides, the new shop is quite communicative. You can give us your opinion on all the CDs or read other users' opinions.
In the following weeks we will supply the shop with some additional features. We will inform you about the changes in future mailings.
Enjoy browsing around our shop and checking out its various functions. You have access to all the lists of CDs we can order for you and you can always find out if a CD is currently in stock or not, because we update our shop every day. But please keep in mind that we have to charge postage every time we send a CD, even if for instance two shipments result from the same order.
