1. Salsa journey: Group travel to the International Salsa Meeting in Havana
The international meeting of dancers and dance schools for Salsa and Casino
takes place in Havana this autumn. This event will be part of a DyM group
travel. You will have the opportunity to get to know our personally designed
classes during the first week of your journey (compare topic 2 of this
newsletter), and the second week gives you the chance to meet hundereds of
Salseros and Salseras from all over the world while dancing all day long and
all night long. This programme is unique regarding its ingredients. Your
accommodation in a carefully selected family will make you experience
Cuban everyday-life , you will enjoy the individually arranged dance classes,
you will participate in 14 tuitional dance sessions for any level, and you will
see 6 shows and live concerts. The live bands performing will be Los Van
Van, Adalberto Alvárez , die Charanga Habanera, Paulo FG, NG La Banda,
Manolito y su trabuco, Pachito Alonso y sus Kini Kini, Yumuri y sus
Hermanos, Azúcar Negra, Anacaona, Pupi y los que son son, Elito Revé and
Isaac Delgado. And this is only the beginning of it ...
If you decide to be part of the journey soon, you will definitely get a place
and you can save money. The huge programme (flight not included) only
costs 949.- Euro for early bookers per person in a double room. A flight
from Europe with for example Air France is about 700.- Euro at the
moment.

4. Don Omar and “King of Kings” - the CD, finally!
“King of Kings” is the accurate title of the CD demonstrating the return of,
at the same time the title clearly states, who he is: the undisputed King of
Reggaeton. We believe that this is CD is clearly one of the best Reggaeton
productions on the market. In our estimation, Reggaeton will stay a hot topic
on the European market in the years to follow. Statistics from the USA,
where the rhythm is already mainstream and where Don Omar had already
sold 400.000 copies of his CD even before the release date, proove this
opinion!

5. Just came in: CDs Manolito and Sur Caribe (Cuba)
5.1 Manolito Simonet y su Trabuco have finally released their new CD,
which was anticipated eagerly by their fans. “Hablando en Serio” is first
class Timba, Manolito style. The first beats already made me feel like being
in Havana. This is a must for fans of Cuban music:

5.2 Sur Caribe is the most popular band in Cuba at the moment, and their
CD “Credenciales” is a wonderfully danceable Timba recording. Similar to
the Manolito CD, it was really hard for me to chose my favourite track.

6. “Otros Aires”-Tour: The winners
We asked you in our last newsletter about the number of CDs already
released by the electrotango formation “Otros Aires”. The prize ware 3x2
free tickets for their current tour in Germany. The correct answer was
