1. Ricardo and Rotraut Tango DVDs
Back in November, 2009, we introduced the first DVD in the new series
of instructional tango DVDs from Ricardo and Rotraut. It was a big
success and in the meantime a couple more DVDs have come out to please
the 'learn-at-home' tango hungry! These DVDs are well made and provide
a number of really good tips and interesting figures, especially for
the now slightly more advanced of us who have worked through the first
DVD! Here are the links:

For each DVD, a description of the contents can be found in the
'review' link; the description is, however, in German. In the DVD
itself, one can choose from 8 languages!: Español, Deutsch, Italiano,
Türkçe, English, Français, Portugues, Polski.
2. Jasstango
I heard this CD for the first time just a couple of weeks ago and
wrote a spontaneous entry in the German DyM Log. I remain enthusiastic
about the group and the CD. Love at first hearing! An excellent
description of this truly excellent band is also available in English:

3. Rarotango's "Vuelta"
A new band, a new CD, a new sound. This is a definite must for E-Tango
lovers: a nice blend of acoustic (bandoneon, violin, voice) with
electric (drum machine, samples and effects).
Rarotango, Vuelta
4. New Tanghetto CD, "Mas Alla del Sur"
Not much needs to be said for this band: they have become an
institution in the electrotango world. Those who already know
their previous albums will not be disappointed. From their website:
"This is so far the closest approach to a pure tango language, but the
band carries on its innovative quest." Indeed.
Tanghetto, Mas Alla del Sur
