13.08.2010: In the middle of summer...
... a few short announcements from "Danza y Movimiento"!
The summer months are in some areas of the world indeed a 'time-out'.
While sitting here in Italy, it seems to me that August is the
quietest month here. Actually, it is very pleasant in contrast to the
hectic which usually dominates...
The 'time-out' also applies to CD production - nothing happens in
the summer months. Which doesn't mean that we're not hard at work!
There's still hope for a download shop at "Danza y Movimiento" and our
programmers are currently working intensively on the project.
In store for September is our annual group trip to Buenos Aires. Two
weeks of intensive Tango, accompanied by Susanna - a truly rare
opportunity. There are still a few spots available. My attention on
this trip is devoted to the men who dance tango or want to learn it. In the group
are more women than men, so men may both ask and also let themselves be asked
to dance...
Argentina holiday: tango and yoga
And Cuba is also calling. For the salsa festival in November we are
offering another hotel. In this way we can offer you two weeks of
salsa in Havana, including the complete festival program and many
extras for 1222.- euros, with a double room if you would like to stay
in the Hotel Neptuno during the festival. Additional costs for single
travellers is only 200.- euros. At the same time, this is an
opportunity to see for yourself just what is true about what the
press has been saying about Cuba in the last few months...
Salsa Festival in Havana, Cuba
Or maybe it's off to Madrid? Indeed, you can't reach anyone there
these days, except for our on-site representative. :-) And she looks
after things very well. But starting in the middle of September, life
in Madrid picks up pace again. What about a week of tango or salsa in
the Spanish capital? Sorry, but the descriptions online for Madrid are
only in German...
Madrid: dance and Spanish in Spain
Well, despite it being summer, there's still a lot going on. Even if
it's only preparing for the coming months. I'm going for a quick swim
and then I'll be ready to answer questions about the planning of your
holiday...
Best regards,
Matthias from the DyM team
