DYM - Salsanews 5th of August
Dear friends of Latin American music and culture!
Today, we can offer you some real Salsa highlights. There are quite a few
new releases and amongst them some Salsa CDs we had to wait for quite
some time, like the one by Spanish Harlem Orchestra, Marc Anthony and
Grupo Niche.
Spanish Harlem Orchestra: Across 100th Street
This CD combines the best from New York, Cuba and Puerto Rico. This is
the band’s second CD after the hit production “Un gran día en el barrio”.
One of the singers is Rubén Blades, who demonstrates to all the
newcomers the quality of an excellent Salsa singer. This album is superb!
Don’t miss out on it!

More top-class Salsa from
Marc Anthony: Valió la pena
Finally! A sigh of relief can be heard in the Latin scene. After several pop
productions, Marc Anthony has finally remembered Salsa. 7 of the 8 titles
are Salsa tracks. Listen to the first song: Valió la pena- it will surely make
you want to dance! And there is also the duet with Jennifer Lopez,
“Escapémonos”.

But there is even more, the CD by
Grupo Niche: Imaginación
The new CD by the Colombians contains 8 tracks. But it is not pure Salsa,
thus the titles on the tracklisting do also indicate the genre. “Salsarengue”
or “Chirisalsa” sound interesting, don’t they?

The CDs are now in stock, but don’t wait for too long!
We solved the problem with the lost tracklistings. So you can listen to the
songs again before you spend your money. You don’t have to buy a pig in
a poke in our webshop!
With best regards from Hamburg!
