releases of Latin-, Tango- and likewise-music:
1.1 CALI ALEMAN - La Victoria
The ex-lead singer in ORQUESTA GUAYACAN is perfectly surprising
with his first solo CD of Hard SALSA.
Very danceable this music is transformed best by Alemans’ nasaly voice
and easily reaches quality-standards of his ex-band.

1.2. ANGA - Echu Mingua
Miguel Diaz better known as “ANGŔ” releases his first solo-CD on
World Circuit. The record-lable that brought to us the Buena Vista Social Club, but
furthermore solo-discs of almost every artist, that had played together
with this famost cuban ensemble of all times.
Up to now ANGA is the most modern artist who’s successfully
introducing cuban roots in his music. Together with Cachaito Lopez,
Chucho Valdes, Ruben Gonzalez and mainly french Hip-Hop DJ “Dee
Nasty” we’ll get a mix of cuban-, jazz-, and african-music that’s by far
outstanding !!!

Already the 2. CD of this REAGGATON-Superstar is a LIVE one. That’s
self-confidence.

Oncemore a highlight of the PUTAMAYO-lable.
First of all AFRICANDO, with different singers adding 3 tracks to this
compilation, but we are much more impressed by young cubans like SKA
CUBANO and the “croatian” CUBISMO.

2.1 TANGO IMMORTALE - LISBOA
DUO-Tango is getting more and more famous. Maybe because it’s a very
interesting challenge for musicians presenting the TANGO with all it’s
dramatic and magic, but only using 2 instruments.
Althoug TANGO IMMORTALE are “only” Piano & ViolonCello and
dedicating this CD to Lisboa and it’s FADO, their music definitely is
TANGO.

2.2 DUO DIAGONAL - TANGO 040
The 2. Tango-Duo is DUO DIAGONAL with Bandoneon and Violine.
They are respectfully presenting TANGO-classics of f.e. FIRPO,
CLAUSI, AROLAS and of course PIAZZOLLA (Balada para un Loco,
their brilliant achievement)

2.3 KEVIN JOHANSEN - THE NADA
Kevin Johansen is a wondrous TANGO-character, that not really belongs
to this scene, but is consequently played on almost every MILONGA.
We herewith now introducing his debut-cd that should be interesting for
every tanguero/a who seeks music to relax to besides TANGO or VALS.
