New music, new winners, new photos! Pure entertainment for your weekend!

Like any other month, we raffled three CDs. If you want to participate, you only have to register for our newsletter and you have to have an account in our webshop. That doesn’t mean, that you have to buy anything, but owning such an account allows you to write CD-reviews, or you can write your personal wishlist, which you can also send to friends in case they are looking for a present for you.

There are also new CDs:

For a long time, it was quite difficult or impossible to get CDs by Luis Borda. Now we don’t have to wait any more. His latest release is called “Hecho” and it is now available. The 17 titles mirror the last 18 years of his artistic life, from the Luis Borda Quinteto to the Luis Borda Cuarteto de Buenos Aires. Quite often, our customers ask us for guitar tango or small instrumentations. Voilá: This is the CD they were looking for.

The following CD is not really new, but somehow she got lost in our large catalogue. It is an outstanding recording and this is why we would like to present “Intimo - Solos de Bandoneón inéditos” by Roberto di Filippo officially now: Astor Piazzolla called him the best bandoneón virtuoso ever. In a letter to di Filippo, Piazzolla wrote: “I would really like to yank out my fingers and throw them in the river”, because he was so impressed by di Filippo’s skills. Do not miss out on at least listening to the CD. By the way: there are also some recordings of speeches of Piazzolla and di Filippo.
